FRITZ'S POLKA BAND COMPLETES TV TAPING FOR BIG JOE POLKA SHOW! On October 1, 2009, Jagermeister-sponsored, Fritz's Polka Band traveled on a sold out bus with a bunch of friends and family to perform at the Big Joe Polka Show TV taping in Buffalo, NY. Despite battling bone cancer and liver cancer, FPB founding member, Fred Scherz Sr. performed every song that Fritz's Polka Band recorded for this TV taping. 3-time Grammy winner, Walter Ostanek jammed on three tunes with Fritz's Polka Band, too!
